Alderfly
(Genus Sialis, Order Megaloptera)
Although they bear a superficial resemblance to caddisflies, the Alderflies are of a completely different order. The caddis Macrostemum
zebratum
is nicknamed the Alder Fly because of the trees which often line its preferred habitat.
