"Roach like" Stonefly Larva
Family Peltoperlidae
The squat little forms of the heavily armored "roach-like" stoneflies live in small, heavily wooded upland streams. On hatching it will look much like any number of small, yellow adults. Note the gill tufts at the base of the legs.
